This referral program exists to thank you for connecting us with standout talent we may not otherwise meet.

1. Program Overview

Avaia Talent offers a referral reward to individuals who introduce us to candidates we successfully place with our clients. If your referral results in a hire who stays for the qualifying period, we’ll issue you a thank-you reward.

2. Eligibility

To qualify for a referral reward:

• The referred candidate must not already be in contact with Avaia Talent or actively engaged in a process with Avaia Talent or any of our clients.

• You must be the first person to introduce the candidate to Avaia Talent.

• The referral must be submitted via email to referral@avaiatalent.com.

• The referred candidate must provide consent to be represented by Avaia Talent before any client introductions are made.

• The referral email must include:

  • Candidate (Referred Person): First name, last name, city, province/state, country of residence, cell phone number, email address and an up-to-date resume

  • Referrer (You): First name, last name, cell phone number, email address, city, province/state, and country of residence

• By submitting a referral:

  • You confirm that you have the referred individual’s consent to share their personal and professional information with Avaia Talent for recruitment purposes.

  • You agree to receive marketing and non-marketing communications (including emails and SMS) from Avaia Talent.

• Avaia Talent will contact the referred individual directly to confirm interest and gather additional consent as needed.

3. Reward Conditions

• The standard referral reward is $250 CAD or $250 USD, depending on the referrer’s country of residence.

• If the referrer resides outside of Canada or the United States, an equivalent-value reward ($250CAD) may be issued via a digital gift card or equivalent.

• A reward is issued only when:

  • The referred candidate is successfully placed through Avaia Talent

  • They remain in the role for a minimum of 91 consecutive days

• Once the 91-day period is complete, the reward will be issued to the referrer within 30 calendar days.

• Any tax liability or reporting obligations related to the referral reward are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Avaia Talent does not provide tax advice.

4. Limitations & Exclusions

• Referrals are valid for up to 12 calendar months from the date of submission.

• Self-referrals, duplicate referrals, or referrals submitted by recruiting agencies will not be eligible.

• Referral rewards are issued per successful referral. There is no cap on the number of referrals an individual may submit; however, Avaia Talent reserves the right to decline future referrals from any individual at its sole discretion.

• Avaia Talent reserves the right to verify the accuracy of all submitted information and to request additional details from the referrer or referred candidate before confirming eligibility.

• Referral rewards will not be issued retroactively for candidates already introduced to or hired by Avaia Talent or its clients prior to the referral submission.

• Avaia Talent determines eligibility for all rewards and retains final decision-making authority.

5. Modifications & Termination

Avaia Talent reserves the right to modify, pause, or terminate this referral program at any time without prior notice. Any referrals submitted before changes take effect will be honoured under the terms in place at the time of submission.
